All the information you require about your stay at the Hotel DAS Kohlmais
- Après Ski:
DAS Kohlmais is right by the Kohlmaisbahn cable car in Saalbach. A host of restaurants, bars and après-ski venues are nearby and just a short walk away.
- ATM:
The nearest ATM is outside the RAIKA branch in Saalbach, just a two-minute walk from the Hotel DAS Kohlmais.
- Bar:
End the day comfortably at our hotel bar or in the lounge by the food truck (open when the weather is nice). Our house bar is open daily from 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm.
- Bathing slippers:
Our environment is important to us! Help to avoid more than 20,000 disposable bathing slippers per year as residual waste and please take your personal bathing shoes with you. Together we can save costs and, above all, make a sustainable contribution to our environment - thank you very much!
- Bike region:
You can look forward to 400 kilometres of signposted bike trails and numerous freeride routes in the Saalbach Hinterglemm bike region.
- Bike room:
A lockable bike room is available free of charge. Each room has its own heated locker, which can only be opened with the room card. The bikes are safely parked and the entire bike room is under constant video surveillance. Various tools for small bike repairs are also available.
- Breakfast:
Our ample breakfast can be enjoyed between 7.30 am and 10.00 am in our cosy restaurant and on the breakfast terrace. You can look forward to a wide variety of mueslis, cereals, fresh fruit, milk, yoghurt, jams, homemade smoothies, porridge, sausage, cheese, eggs served any way you like and a selection of teas and coffees. A perfect start to the day is guaranteed!
- Cable cars and lifts:
There are 6 lifts open in summertime and 70 in the winter.
- General cancellation conditions:
Up to 3 months before arrival – no cancellation fees
3 months to 1 month before arrival – 40% of the entire amount
1 month to 1 week before arrival – 70% of the entire amount
In the last week before arrival – 90% of the entire amount
Should you not be able to start your vacation due to a shutdown on our part due to measures taken by the federal government, there are of course no cancellation fees.
- Check-in:
Your room will be available from 3 pm.
- Check-out:
You are kindly requested to vacate your room by 10 am
- E-filling station:
As an environmentally conscious guest, you benefit from our e-charging station for electric cars. You can charge the batteries of your e-car with green electricity in our parking lot right next to the hotel. (for a fee)
- Food Truck:
Our DAS Kohlmais food truck is open in summer from 1 pm to 10 pm daily except Mondays (only in good weather) outside the hotel. You can tuck into succulent burgers, home-made snacks and delicious drinks in a laid-back atmosphere.
- Indoor pool:
The indoor pool is open daily from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
- Internet:
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel free of charge.
- Incompatibilities:
Of course, we take any intolerance or allergies into account. Please let the reception know about this and we will forward it to the kitchen.
- Joker Card:
In summer you will receive the Saalbach JOKER CARD free of charge when you arrive at the hotel. This is valid for the entire duration of your stay between 29 May and 26 October 2025.
- Laundry service:
We offer a laundry service on request for a fee.
- Outdoor pool:
The outdoor pool with seating and massage function is opened daily from 04.00 pm until 08.00 pm in winter, and from 08.00 am until 08.00 pm in summer.
- Parking:
You can park your car outside the hotel or in the parking garage alongside the hotel for an additional fee of € 10.00 per car and day.
- Pets:
Please note that pets are not allowed.
- Shops:
There are lots of shops and ski hire facilities near the Hotel DAS Kohlmais.
- Sauna and steam bath:
In winter, our sauna and steam bath are open daily from 4 pm to 8 pm. In summer, they are gladly put into operation on request.
- Smoking:
Smoking is forbidden in guests’ rooms and all public areas. You are welcome to smoke on the balconies. Thank you for your understanding.
- Skicircus:
The Hotel DAS Kohlmais is right by the Kohlmaisbahn cable car in Saalbach. This means you have direct access to 270 kilometres of superb pistes!
- Ski room:
Our ski room is in the cellar and can be locked.
- Ski pass:
A ski pass for the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski area can be bought at the lift station opposite the Hotel.
- Vegan friendly:
On request, we can offer you a completely vegan 5-course menu for an additional charge of € 35. You will also find a variety of vegan products at breakfast. It's best to let us know before you start your journey or when you arrive at the hotel - thank you!
